Monarchy Mantra: "Stop the Republicans"

Obama's executive order allowing for deportation deferrals to be given to millions of illegal immigrants is causing major concerns for the Republican party. Recently, the number of Republican representatives in Congress surpassed that of the Democrat's. Obama, a democrat, is attempting to covertly do everything in his power as president, legally or illegally, to override his Republican-ruled congress that desires to deport as many illegal immigrants as possible. What is odd is that Obama once campaigned against granting such great executive power in which the president has to directly oppose his congress. Furthermore, the immigrants are in no real danger of war, persecution, or natural disasters etc. Republicans view his actions at best as unnecessary and monarchical.   

Republicans are conservative and hold to traditional values. However, they also act on enforcing extra rules to ensure the best physical and financial safety for the citizens of the country. This is why they push to deny immigrant rights as long as our present economy continues to decline. 

Democrats pursue entirely the will of the people be it good or bad. If anyone wants to come to their country, they may. It's more of a free-for-all governmental system. The liberals, or extreme democrats, enjoy the lifestyle of anything goes as long as everyone is happy.

I find that Republicans go against their beliefs when they deny immigrants from making a name for themselves in America. This was how America was founded. While Democrats are digging a whole for everyone in that the only way one can survive without jobs taken by illegal immigrants is through welfare a.k.a. the rich forcibly giving to the poor. Both Democrats and Republicans are nearly equal in opposition strength at this current time. 

The New York Times said, "Until now, Mr. Obama had kept deportation numbers high as part of a strategy to win Republican support for a bill overhauling the immigration system, leading angry immigrant-rights advocates to call him 'the deporter in chief.'" When Obama received no Republican support, he made a total reversal and began handing out deportation deferrals left and right. I and many others think it a crime to work and bend the rules which an entire nation must abide by simply to maintain a popular status.

“The president needs to have enforcement priorities, and he needs to apply them in a way that is uniform, predictable and nondiscriminatory", says law professor Hiroshi Motomura. Allowing illegal immigrants to resume activities in America could spell disaster by increasing drug trafficking, scarcer jobs, etc. But it could also bring in a healthy cultural influence with different talents and teachings. It really all depends on the individual immigrants. 

One thing is clear, American can not be a doormat. We need solid reasons on why rules are to be established, and if they are established, they must be clear, non-deceptive, and a majority of them fair. One president should not have the power to overrule the legislative branch of which the many representatives have been voted for and sworn into office by the country's own citizens if what they are fighting for are moral and legal principles as equally or more than equally superior than those of his.
